Fireside chats are discussion sessions based on literature provided by the guest scientist of the session. They are dynamic, interactive classes and the discussion is guided by the questions of the participants.

The project is part of the Advances in the Learning Sciences classes and aims to provide an in-depth overview of the core concepts and methods of the current disciplines in the REASON program. The initiative follows the goals of the REASON interdisciplinary collaboration statement.

A similar series is currently planned for the upcoming Winter semester 2017/2018.
