Learning Sciences

We are very happy to announce that the International Handbook of the Learning Sciences is now available. Frank Fischer co-edited this volume together with Cindy Hmelo-Silver (Indiana University), Susan Goldman (University of Illinois at Chicago) und Peter Reiman (University of Sydney.

The International Handbook of the Learning Sciences is a comprehensive collection of international perspectives on this interdisciplinary field. Many of the 52 chapters contain links to the NAPLeS video series

The Network of Academic Programs in the Learning Sciences (NAPLeS) is a network of Ph.D. and master‘s programs in the Learning Sciences. NAPLeS is part of the educational mission of the International Society of the Learning Sciences. It was officially founded at the 2012 ICLS meeting.

In an effort to make the NAPLeS videos more accessible to non-English speakers, a new section containing multiple NAPLeS Videos with German subtitles was created. They can be found here: NAPLeS videos with German subtitles.
